wk02 Rock, Paper, Scissors Concept Phase

After finishing my sketches, I already know that there are some parts of the sketches I like while there are others I dislike. Although the first one is small, it feels like there would be too much negative space that it would distract from the flow of the paper. However, the 2nd through the 4th feel like there is too much going on that is taking away from the meaning of the poster. The ones that I think work better are the 7th, 9th, and 10th. the part that i like the most about the 10th is the added picture in the header, something like a logo to grab the attention of those who look at it. Meanwhile, i feel like the 7th has a good flow to the overall flyer, but there is still a chance it has too much white space. Finally, I feel like the 9th is a good combination of pictures with a solid split between the intro and the rules, even if the graphics need to be moved around to conceal negative space.

I selected these images because I felt like they did a good job of showing what rock, paper, scissors is about while keeping a casual, beige color scheme. By keeping a beige color scheme would express how rock, paper scissors isn't a formal game, but rather a more casual game. I have the two on the right that show what the game is about, with the top one showing the general rules of the game. The three on the left are more like logos of the game, which would be good accents to have on the page. I might take the top left graphic and take the 3 individual pictures to create a border.

  4. I really like the color of your graphics. When you put them together in your final page they will come together really nicely and create a great flow to your page.
